Rachael Montgomery Morua

Rachael Montgomery Morua has dedicated her professional life to helping people understand themselves more deeply and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and emotional stability. Her work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change occurs when insight is paired with intentional action.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist, she has worked extensively with individuals and couples facing issues related to trauma, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, intimacy concerns, and personal identity. Her clinical experience has given her a unique perspective on the common struggles people face when trying to create lasting change.

Rachael’s interdisciplinary training allows her to integrate traditional therapeutic approaches with neuroscience, somatic awareness, and evidence-based interventions. She believes that healing involves more than understanding problems intellectually. It requires learning how thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physiological responses interact within everyday life.

In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a mentor, educator, and clinical supervisor, helping train and support emerging professionals within the mental health field. Her commitment to lifelong learning continues through her doctoral studies in Clinical Sexology.

The principles explored throughout Mirage in the Mirror reflect years of observation, research, and clinical practice. Through her writing, Rachael seeks to provide readers with practical tools, deeper self-awareness, and the confidence to approach growth with honesty and compassion. Her work consistently emphasizes accountability, resilience, emotional intelligence, and authentic self-understanding.
